Australian tax runs on a yearly cycle — 1 July to 30 June. Pricing Pro the same way is simpler: one fee, one financial year, one return. Cleaner than a recurring monthly bill for something that's genuinely seasonal.
Whenever suits you. Pro runs for 12 months from the day you subscribe and covers the financial year you're working on. Some people subscribe early in the year to get email forwarding and unlimited receipts while they collect; others wait until they're ready to generate the return. Both are fine.
Totally fine. Subscribe for a year, generate your return, let it lapse. You keep read-only access to everything you generated. Come back whenever you need another return — your entire history will still be there.
You can still scan them — they just queue for the next month's quota. Pro removes the cap entirely if that gets in the way.
